Mike Bingham

With a distinguished career optimizing institutional investment strategies across a variety of organizations, Michael Bingham plays a pivotal role in raising the bar for PEG. Known for his ability to systematize processes and enhance investment strategies, he has streamlined key procedural safeguards at PEG, including the creation and execution of the firm’s investment committee.

Since 2007, Michael has been the Co-Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Blue Diamond Capital LLC, a family office investment management company that serves as a major equity partner for PEG. Under his leadership, Blue Diamond Capital has successfully grown its portfolio by 400%, surpassing a value of $500 million. Michael’s ability to structure and execute high-impact investments has played a key role in expanding PEG’s capabilities.

Michael has led and participated in several high-profile projects over the years. Notable achievements include the founding and rapid expansion of Edge Homes, an investment in 2009 during the bankruptcy restructuring of Sportsman’s Warehouse (now operating over 60 stores across multiple states), and the ongoing development of Desert Color—a large mixed-use community in Southern Utah that will include residential homes, businesses, and prime recreational facilities.

In addition to his roles at PEG and Blue Diamond Capital, Michael serves on the Utah State University Foundation Board. He contributed to a successful fundraising campaign that raised more than $500 million for the university.

Michael holds both a BS and MS degree in Accounting from Brigham Young University.
