Soren Halladay
Soren Halladay has played a pivotal role in shaping PEG’s investment platform, serving for many years as the firm’s Chief Investment Officer before transitioning into his current role as a board member and strategic advisor. A key architect of PEG’s investment strategies, Soren was the mastermind behind the firm’s innovative Extended Stay Conversion strategy, which has become a defining component of PEG’s portfolio. Today, he continues to provide high-level guidance on market dynamics, portfolio strategy, and long-term growth initiatives.
With a well-rounded background spanning real estate finance, acquisitions, and accounting, Soren’s insights are informed by years of hands-on experience. Before joining PEG, he worked in Los Angeles, where he honed his expertise in data analysis, underwriting, and financial reporting at Kennedy Wilson. Prior to this, As an auditor at Deloitte, he ensured the accuracy of real estate companies’ financials and earned his CPA.
Soren believes that adaptability is key to investment success, emphasizing the importance of navigating shifting economic conditions, fluctuating interest rates, and evolving market trends.
Soren holds an MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a Bachelor of Accountancy from Brigham Young University.
